SailGP and Doyle Sails extend partnership through 2030

Written by

SailGP has confirmed a multi season extension with Doyle Sails, locking in the long standing partnership through to 2030.

An official partner of the Rolex SailGP Championship since its launch in 2019, Doyle Sails has powered the F50 fleet from day one. The new agreement marks the first five year deal between the two organisations and was announced just days before the 2026 season opener at the Oracle Perth Sail Grand Prix, presented by KPMG.

Doyle Sails supplies the six jibs used by each of SailGP’s 13 international teams, ensuring identical, race ready sails at every venue across the 13 event calendar. Beyond sail supply, the relationship runs deep on the technical side. Doyle works closely with SailGP Technologies on modelling and analysis of the full aerodynamic package, including the multi element hard wings, helping manage extreme rig loads and refine performance across the fleet.

Emma Hendy, Doyle Sails Chief Commercial Officer, added:

“This partnership is about far more than sail supply; it’s a deep technical collaboration focused on innovation, precision and performance at the very highest level.”

SAILGP AND DOYLE SAILS EXTEND PARTNERSHIP

On January 12, SailGP announced a multi-season extension of its partnership with Doyle Sails through to 2030. A partner since the championship’s launch, the industry-leading sailmaker has powered SailGP’s F50 catamarans since the inaugural 2019 season.

The extension, announced ahead of the 2026 Season launch at the Oracle Perth Sail Grand Prix, marks the first five-year agreement between the two brands.

With nearly four decades of experience, Doyle Sails supplies the six jibs used by each of SailGP’s 13 international teams across the 13-event calendar. Beyond sail supply, Doyle plays a key role in modelling and analysing the full aero package, working closely with SailGP Technologies to assess rig loads, manage extreme forces on the wings, and refine fleet-wide aerodynamics.

Joel Marginson, SailGP Technologies Director, said the partnership is critical to athlete performance and the quality of racing, highlighting the shared commitment to innovation since the championship began.

Emma Hendy, Doyle Sails’ Chief Commercial Officer, said the extension reflects a deep technical collaboration focused on precision, performance, and pushing the boundaries of high-performance sailing as SailGP continues to evolve.
