Role Overview


As part of our 38th America’s Cup campaign, we are looking for an Electronics Engineer (junior or intermediate profile welcome) to assist the head of the electronics division in the development, installation, and maintenance of embedded systems onboard our high-performance racing yachts.


This role combines technical and logistical tasks at the core of the team’s operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, assembly, and debugging of embedded electronic systems
• Program, configure, and test onboard electronic components (sensors, actuators, communication interfaces, controllers)
• Support the implementation of embedded networks: TCP/IP, CAN bus, RS232, EtherCAT, etc.
• Manage procurement of electronic hardware and associated consumables
• Support equipment integration with attention to marine constraints (sealing, robustness, harsh environment)
• Apply techniques for conditioning analog and digital signals
• Collaborate with other technical divisions to ensure coherent integrated systems

Ideal Profile

• Degree in electronics, mechatronics, or related field (Bachelor’s or Master’s level)
• First professional experience (2 to 5 years) in embedded environments, ideally marine or sports related
• Knowledge of networking and fieldbus systems: TCP/IP, CAN, RS232, EtherCAT
• Familiarity with protocols like NMEA2000 / NMEA0183
• Experience with wiring, soldering, functional testing, and field debugging
• Understanding of marinization issues (sealing, vibration, corrosion)
• Detail-oriented, versatile, team-oriented, and able to adapt to demanding technical environments
• Programming skills are a plus (especially Python)
