Zaphira showcases Lloyd Stevenson Boatbuilders’ 26 years of Elite craftsmanship

Written by

Launched in June 2023, Zaphira stands as a striking expression of the design evolution and boatbuilding expertise refined by Lloyd Stevenson Boatbuilders over more than 26 years of constructing Elite Motor Yachts. The result is a highly resolved, custom-built vessel that reflects both technical precision and refined styling.

Finished in Aurora Gold, Zaphira’s topsides shift in tone depending on the light, moving from a subtle metallic silver to a rich, radiant gold. The colour contrasts elegantly with the white and grey superstructure, creating a distinctive presence on the water.

The helm station is positioned within an expansive pilothouse, accessed via stairs from the saloon and directly from the cockpit. More than a command centre, the pilothouse doubles as an additional entertaining space, with built-in settees along both sides. Three-panel stacking sliding doors open onto exterior seating on the tender deck, enhancing the vessel’s indoor-outdoor flow.

Navigation is managed through a bank of three 16-inch multifunction displays by Furuno, delivering comprehensive system integration. A joystick docking station located on the port tender deck further enhances close-quarters handling.

Both the tender deck and cockpit can be fully enclosed with clears, ensuring comfort in a wide range of weather conditions and extending usability throughout the seasons.

Inside, the décor is sophisticated and understated. Dark-stained oak cabinetry complements oak flooring in the galley, dinette and heads, creating a cohesive and timeless interior aesthetic. As with all custom builds, the owners incorporated personalised features, including button-actuated footrests integrated into the saloon seating.

Powered by twin MAN i6 engines rated at 800hp each, Zaphira achieves a top speed of 29.5 knots when fully laden and cruises comfortably at up to 25 knots. The vessel’s no-compromise build approach ensures the owners have a boat tailored precisely to their vision.
