Grand Banks and Palm Beach Motor Yachts open first-of-its-kind Owners Club in Newport

Written by

Grand Banks and Palm Beach Motor Yachts have launched a dedicated Owners Club in Newport, Rhode Island, marking a new approach to yacht ownership support that extends well beyond build and delivery.

The club opened officially on 11 June with a waterfront reception at 1 Spring Wharf, drawing together owners, team members and guests for hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, a ribbon cutting, flag raising and cannon salute.

Newport is a natural fit for the venture. The city sits at the heart of the global yachting calendar, with world-class sailing, regattas, and a summer social scene that encompasses dining, music, polo, golf and historic architecture. The Spring Wharf location puts owners in the middle of it all, with harbour views and amenities including a putting green and dedicated gathering spaces available throughout the season.

What sets the club apart from a conventional marina or dealership is its direct link to both brands’ factory model. Owners have a single point of contact across sales, service and support, connecting them with the people who designed, built and commissioned their boats.

“This is about creating something special for our owners,” said CEO and Chief Designer Mark Richards. “This is more than a facility, it’s a destination for owners to feel connected to their yachts, to Newport, to our team, and to the wider Grand Banks and Palm Beach Motor Yachts community.”

The Newport Owners Club is at 1 Spring Wharf, Newport, Rhode Island. More information is available at palmbeachmotoryachts.com and grandbanks.com.
