The International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition and Conference (IBEX) returns to the Tampa Convention Center on October 6-8, 2026, under the theme “Embrace Innovation, Master Momentum.”
The theme reflects the reality facing the industry right now: speed without coordination leads to fragmentation, and innovation without practical application leads nowhere. IBEX 2026 is positioned as the place where builders, manufacturers, and suppliers can cut through the noise, evaluate emerging technologies, and figure out what actually works for their businesses.
The 2026 show will feature more than 730 exhibiting companies and is expected to draw over 8,000 industry professionals, including boat builders, naval architects, distributors, and wholesalers. The 2026 theme boat is the ENVGO.
Several updates have been made based on exhibitor and attendee feedback. All exhibit areas will now open at 9 a.m. each day, creating a more consistent flow across the show floor and expanding networking time. The Education Conference, developed in partnership with ABYC, NMEA, NMMA, and Professional BoatBuilder, will again offer the most comprehensive technical marine education program in the world, covering Monday Pre-Conference sessions, Tech Talk Workshops, and a Seminar Series. A reimagined Main Stage moves to a new location and features a fresh lineup, while the Marine Ideas Exchange (MIX) program, presented with Soundings Trade Only, returns to foster peer-driven collaboration.
IBEX is also rolling out a refreshed brand for 2026, reflecting a sharper focus on marine technology and industry alignment.
Exhibitor applications are still being accepted, though space is limited. Full registration opens in June, with additional programme details coming in May.
