IT Support Technician – Full-time or Freelance
Context
As part of our 38th America’s Cup campaign, we are looking for an IT Support Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for managing Microsoft 365 services, IT hardware, network equipment, endpoint security, and providing daily technical support to users.
Key Responsibilities
_ Microsoft 365 and Collaborative Tools
- Administer and maintain Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams.
- Manage user accounts, access rights, and software licenses.
- Support collaborative tools (videoconferencing, messaging, office suites).
_ Infrastructure and Network Management
- Configure and maintain routers, switches, and Wi-Fi access points.
- Monitor the availability of critical resources (network, Wi-Fi, servers, services).
- Supervise backups (verification, restoration if needed).
- Manage a fleet of tablets (deployment, configuration, maintenance).
_ IT Security
- Administer endpoint security solutions (antivirus, antimalware, filters, etc.).
- Enforce IT security policies and access control procedures.
_ Technical Support and Logistics
- Provide Level 1 and 2 technical support to staff (remote diagnostics, troubleshooting, resolution).
- Manage IT equipment: inventory, labeling, assignment, and preventive maintenance.
- Supervise printers and multifunction devices.
- Track stock and procure IT consumables (cartridges, cables, accessories, etc.).
- Support onboarding of new employees: account creation, equipment assignment, basic IT induction.
_ Additional Tasks
- Administer automation and orchestration tools to optimize repetitive tasks.
- Configure audio communication tools (e.g., Riedel).
- Configure video streaming software.
- Document procedures and create user-friendly guides (best practices, tutorials, security awareness).
Ideal Profile
_ Technical Skills
- Education: 2-3 year degree in IT (e.g., BTS SIO, DUT Informatique, or equivalent).
- Experience: Previous experience in IT support, system administration, networking, or automation.
- Microsoft 365 Environment: Proficiency in Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams.
- Networking and Security:
– Knowledge of router, Wi-Fi access point configuration, and network monitoring.
– Understanding of endpoint security (antivirus, antimalware, access policies).
– Experience with automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Ansible) is a plus.
– Operating Systems: Proficiency in Windows (macOS and Android are a plus).

Conditions
