Whitehaven Marine appointed Aquila dealer

Written by

Following the launch of its first sailing catamaran, the Aquila 50 Sail, Aquila Catamarans has appointed Whitehaven Marine as its exclusive dealer for Aquila Sailing Catamarans in Australia and New Zealand. Whitehaven joins Aquila’s global network of more than 100 dealers. Busfield Marine has partnered with Whitehaven to represent Aquila Catamarans for New Zealand customers.

The Aquila 50 Sail debuted globally at the Miami International Boat Show in February 2026 and made its Australian premiere at the 2026 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show from 21–24 May. Seven Aquila models were displayed by Whitehaven, including the new Aquila 50 Sail, Aquila 42 Coupe and Aquila 46 Yacht power catamarans.

Based at Runaway Bay Marina on Queensland’s Gold Coast, Whitehaven Marine will also introduce new sub-dealers in Sydney, Auckland and Fremantle.

Aquila announced its expansion into sailing catamarans at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2025, building on its established reputation in the power catamaran market. The Aquila 50 Sail, developed with J&J Design, offers up to six cabins with ensuite bathrooms and will be on show at Sanctuary Cove from 21–24 May 2026.
