Effective 1 August 2026, Eric Alström becomes Group President & CEO of Hempel, succeeding Michael Hansen. Following an interim leadership period led by Peter la Cour Gormsen and Emilie Barriau, Eric joins Hempel after a successful leadership career at Danfoss and previous service as Hempel’s Vice Chair (2017–2024). The Board expressed confidence in his ability to drive growth, innovation, and value creation, while Eric highlighted Hempel’s strong foundation and future growth potential.
