Rimdrive propellers

Written by

Made in the Netherlands, the Rimdrive features a shaftless design that prevents fouling by ropes and weed — the tapered, inward-pointing blades allow debris to pass through easily. It has just one moving part, with fully sealed, non-moving electrical components, eliminating any risk of water ingress.

The shrouded propeller is also safe for swimmers and wildlife.

A full range of options is available, including outboards (tiller or remote), bow thrusters, and fixed or steerable pod motors. Electrically steered options and controllers can coordinate multiple motors for precise, omnidirectional movement.

Rimdrives are available from 2.5kW up to 77kW.
