Yamaha Crosswave arrives

Yamaha Motor New Zealand is introducing the all-new Yamaha CrossWave, a new category of personal watercraft designed for Kiwi boaties seeking greater versatility on the water. More than a traditional WaveRunner, the CrossWave combines Yamaha’s proven performance and reliability with the practicality of a compact boat. Designed for fishing, cruising, watersports and family adventures, it offers exceptional flexibility for a wide range of on-water activities.

At nearly four metres long, the CrossWave features a full walkaround layout, generous deck space, class-leading storage and seating for up to four people. Its modular design includes removable rear seating and Yamaha’s integrated T-Track system, allowing owners to customise the craft with accessories such as rod holders, trolling motor mounts and shallow water anchors.

The CrossWave is equipped with a 7-inch Connext® touchscreen, a 7-inch Simrad® NSX® chartplotter and fishfinder, Bluetooth speakers, extensive storage, an anchor locker and Yamaha’s patented cleanout port.
Power comes from Yamaha’s proven 1.9-litre High Output marine engine, delivering smooth, reliable performance across a range of conditions.

“The CrossWave represents an exciting new direction for Yamaha,” says Yamaha Motor New Zealand Group Marketing Manager Pete Dick. “It offers the flexibility New Zealanders are looking for, seamlessly transitioning between recreation, fishing, exploration and family boating.” Expected to attract strong interest from boaties seeking a premium alternative between a traditional PWC and a compact boat, the
CrossWave opens the door to a new style of on-water adventure.

The Yamaha CrossWave will tour selected Yamaha WaveRunner dealers nationwide in the coming months, giving customers the opportunity to view and trial the craft firsthand.
