Callum Streeter has been appointed chief executive of Fish & Game New Zealand and will begin the role on December 1.
Originally from Timaru and now based in Christchurch, Streeter is a lifelong angler and hunter.
Streeter has more than 20 years’ experience in the energy sector across New Zealand and the United States, with expertise in industrial decarbonisation, carbon capture and energy efficiency.
Fish & Game chair Barrie Barnes said Streeter brings strong leadership, technical expertise and environmental knowledge, and is well placed to lead the organisation and protect New Zealand’s fisheries and game bird habitats.
Barnes also thanked outgoing chief executive Corina Jordan for her leadership since 2022.
