Australian builder Maritimo will introduce its new S50 Sedan Motor Yacht to the Americas at the 2026 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, bringing a 50-foot offshore design to one of the world’s most important boating markets.

The S50 follows its global launch at Australia’s Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show in May. Maritimo positions the model as an entry point for new owners and a downsizing option for existing customers who want to retain offshore capability without the demands of a larger vessel.

The yacht features Maritimo’s signature single-level layout connecting cockpit, aft galley, salon and helm on one deck. An aft galley to port includes full-height domestic refrigeration, cooktop and oven. The integrated cockpit “boot” incorporates seating, barbecue and sink while providing access to the lazarette and onboard systems.

A tilting swim platform, branded the Adaptive Swim Platform, lowers for water access and tilts vertical to reduce overall length for restricted marina berths. Twin 800-horsepower Volvo Penta D13 diesels power a shallow shaft-drive configuration, with a 1,000hp option on display at FLIBS.

Below deck, two staterooms with adjoining bathrooms offer accommodation, with a convertible saloon settee increasing total sleeping capacity to six. Domestic appliances include washer and dryer.

“At its core, the S50 Sedan has been conceived to deliver a seamless connection between interior and exterior living spaces,” said Phil Candler, Maritimo Operations Manager. “The expansive main saloon exemplifies this philosophy, offering a level of openness, natural light, and airflow that sets a new benchmark in the 50-foot sedan motor yacht category.”

The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show runs October 28 to November 1, 2026.
