Our sort of traffic jam!

Come read about traffic congestion, Whangamata style!

At Whangamata today, we had a family brunch for some, and a fishing charter for others – between us 23 people…

My job was to deliver daughter #1 to the charter so she could bring home tea (3 very healthy Snapper came home) – and then head to New World for a couple of boxes of Danish pastries for the 10 folks coming to brunch.

Look at the photos! The traffic jam down by the trailer boat jetty stretched two blocks!

At the marina/jetty today we had a traffic jam, Whangamata style!

Brunch was great, ample warm danishes (thanks again New World, I know I am high maintenance but you did good!), champaign mimosas, fishing in the Wentworth River (aka Whangamata Harbour/Marina/Yetty/wharf) and family joy!
