Key for the Black Foils

To sustain their momentum and keep their Championship hopes alive, the Black Foils must keep securing victories. The Black Foils currently lie:

  • 5 points behind GBR Emirates
  • 4 points behind Australia
  • 3 points ahead of Spain
  • 4 points ahead of Canada
  • 9 points ahead of France

It takes very little for any of these teams to seize the Championship lead and stay out in front. Brilliant starts are essential, and those short bursts of exceptional sailing are critical—something the Black Foils are good at (which makes them so dangerous) and must continue to deliver. Strategically plotting their course to maximise favourable winds will also prove vital. Minimising unforced errors and maintaining sharp focus throughout the race remain key priorities.
