In an inspired move for the New Zealand marine community, Smart Marine has announced the opening of its fifth store in Albany, located on Auckland’s North Shore. This marks a significant milestone in the company’s growth, and a strategic step to meet the increasing demand for quality boating, fishing, and outdoor gear in the region.

Smart Marine, a family-owned and operated business, has been serving boating and fishing enthusiasts since 1985. What started as a single store in Auckland, founded by Henny and Maree Schiphorst, has blossomed into a national presence with stores in Manukau, Mt Wellington, Hamilton, and Tauranga. This expansion into Albany is part of their continued growth strategy, designed to bring their expert services and extensive product range closer to the growing community of boating and fishing lovers in North Shore and surrounding areas.

The new Smart Marine Albany store will be situated on Constellation Drive, offering easy access just off the motorway and ample parking, including space for boat trailers. The location is not just about convenience; it is strategically placed to serve not only Albany but also to act as a gateway to West Auckland and Northland.

The store will feature Smart Marine’s signature product range of over 16,000 items, including everything from boating and fishing equipment to outdoor accessories. With more than 1,000 trusted brands, the new store will offer customers a vast selection of quality products tailored to New Zealand’s unique marine conditions.
