Flite and Axopar reveal a boater focused eFoil board

A new Flite AIR variant aims to make eFoiling simpler, tougher, and more practical from an Axopar.

A board that fits the Axopar way of boating

Flite and Axopar have teamed up on an eFoil board aimed squarely at boat owners. The new Flite AIR x Axopar was shown as a prototype at Boot Düsseldorf 2026 in Germany. It is based on Flite’s AIR platform, but the brief has shifted. This one is built for boating life, not beach launches.

Flite president Nick Stickler says the intent was to make the board feel like part of the boat package.

“Together, we are combining that innovation to offer Axopar owners a premium, integrated eFoil solution that feels engineered into the boat from day one, rather than added on later”.

Axopar founding partner Jan Erik Viitala says the pairing changes what a day on the water can look like.

“With the boat as your base, you can reach new environments, explore further, and enjoy the water in ways that simply aren’t possible without combining these two worlds”.

What makes it different on board

If you have ever tried to manage water toys around a busy cockpit, you will know the pain points. This board leans into those realities. The Flite AIR x Axopar includes a secure bungee system, a branded dry bag, attachment points for tying off alongside the boat, and a forward gear strap for small items.

The structure is also set up for rougher treatment. The deck and nose are reinforced, and the board includes grab points intended to make lifting and handling easier on deck. The styling nods to Axopar’s design language, including a deck pad with laser cut seafloor topography inspired by the Finnish archipelago of Kasnäs.

How to buy and when to expect it

Flite and Axopar say preorders will open during Boot Düsseldorf 2026. Serial production is planned for (NZ) autumn 2026, with first deliveries targeted shortly after. Customers will be able to order it as an option with a new Axopar, through selected Axopar dealers, or directly through Flite’s website.
