Aquila Catamarans has won two international awards in a single week, with its 50 Sail taking the International Multihull Show Premiere award at the Multihull of the Year awards, and the 46 Yacht claiming the Power Catamaran 12-16m category at the 2026 Yacht Style Awards.
The Yacht Style Awards, held on April 22 at ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove, welcomed entries across 35 categories. Judges selected the Aquila 46 Yacht for its unique design, which delivers large-yacht comforts in a versatile twin-hull package. Succeeding the long-serving 44 Yacht, the 46 is two feet longer and two feet wider, retaining the flybridge series signatures, including a cockpit bar, flybridge-to-foredeck stairs, and a full-beam owner’s suite, while improving on each, particularly the master cabin and its open bathroom. The multi-zone flybridge and optional Aquila Hydro Glide foil system were also cited among its strengths.
Notably, this is the second consecutive year Aquila has won the same Yacht Style Award category, having taken it in 2025 with the 46 Coupe.
The Multihull of the Year’s International Multihull Show Premiere award recognised the 50 Sail, first launched at the Miami International Boat Show 2026, commending its innovative design and ergonomics as a bold entry into the sailing market.
“Winning a Yacht Style Award for a second consecutive year is an honour for our entire team,” said Jean Raas, Chief Product Officer at Aquila Catamarans. “These awards reflect the strength of our vision and the feedback we continue to receive from owners who value versatility and thoughtful design.”
Aquila 46 Yacht
The 46 Yacht is built for serious offshore cruising, combining an Explorer-style aesthetic with advanced composite construction. A foam-cored bulbous bow reduces pitching in choppy conditions, while the 23’3″ beam creates exceptional interior volume. The aft cockpit opens seamlessly to the salon for indoor-outdoor entertaining, and the layout is available in four or five cabin configurations.

Developed with design partners J&J Design, the 50 Sail maximises space, comfort, and functionality across its four, five, or six cabin configurations. A bow cockpit creates a dedicated social zone, with bridge-to-bow access throughout. Propulsion options include diesel engines or the Hybrid Ocean Drive, offering silent electric capability at anchor.
