696 Xpedition expands Exteme into amphibious

Built on the award-winning Game King platform, the new Extreme 696 Xpedition marks Extreme Boats’ latest step into the amphibious market. Combining the proven offshore pedigree of the Game King hull with integrated amphibious capability, the 696 Xpedition is designed to expand where and how owners can launch, retrieve and explore.

At 8.10m overall with a 20-degree deadrise hull, the 696 Xpedition retains the brand’s focus on rough-water performance while adding the flexibility of seamless beach and land access. Construction is robust throughout, with an 8mm transom and hull thickness paired with 4mm sides and deck plating.

Power comes from a recommended 250hp outboard, fed by a 260-litre fuel tank aimed at extended day trips and coastal adventures. With a 2.42m beam, the new model balances offshore capability with trailerable practicality.

The 696 Xpedition continues the growing trend toward amphibious boating in New Zealand, offering owners the ability to launch directly from beaches, avoid crowded ramps, and access remote locations with greater ease.
