Launched in 1982, the First Spirit 300 was built for sailors who knew exactly what a boat needs, and what it does not. More than 30 years later, BENETEAU re-introduces the Spirit name with the First 36 Spirit, which combines the thrill of planing with the proven stability and safety of the First 36.

Under sail, its simplicity and lightweight design are immediately evident. Responsive in light winds, it accelerates effortlessly as conditions build, with the vacuum-infused hull displacing just 4,620kg before rising onto the plane. Twin CNC-milled Corecell rudders deliver precise control and a direct connection to the water, while an ergonomic deck layout and high-quality hardware make sailing easy for small crews, whether cruising with family and friends or sailing solo at double-digit speeds.

Below deck, comfort and practicality are distilled to the essentials. The three-cabin layout, spacious saloon and single head provide everything needed for life on board without unnecessary complexity. Durable worktops, removable magnetic doors, open storage solutions and a clever folding sink maximise space and usability. It is an interior that feels intuitive from the moment you step aboard.

The First 36 Spirit was created by lifelong sailors and leading designers, including naval architect Samuel Manuard, designer Lorenzo Argento and the experienced SITO team, brought together by Seascape. Designed from the helm and shaped by real sailing experience, it focuses on the moments that matter most at sea.
