Stabicraft 2200 Supercab replaces the 2100

Written by

The 2100 Supercab, gold gate prize boat at the 2013 Hutchwilco New Zealand Boat Show, has a successor.

Stabicraft has launched the 2200 Supercab, replacing the 2100 that has been one of its core models for more than a decade.

The new boat is 350mm longer than the 2100 at 6.75m, with 172kg more dry hull weight and a power range of 150–250hp. It keeps the 2100’s 1.82m internal beam, 20° deadrise, 5mm hull pldate and 250-litre fuel tank. Stabicraft says the forward pontoon sections have been reworked to soften the entry in chop.

Most of the visible change is in the cabin, with larger framed sliding windows and a helm built for bigger displays. A wraparound aft handrail and a flat bow platform running to the anchor fairlead make moving forward and handling a mooring easier.

It comes in three packages: Adventure, Sportfish and Profish. Pricing is through dealers.

Stabicraft turns 40 in 2027, when it returns as grand prize partner at the Hutchwilco New Zealand Boat Show.
