New Azimut 68

Written by

NEWEST MODEL IN THE FLYBRIDGE COLLECTION: the Azimut 68 is a high-tech 20.98m yacht with three different layouts on the main deck .

The Azimut 68 is offered with three possible main deck configurations, plus a multifunctional area, each with a particular lifestyle in mind.

Each main deck option has been integrated into the overall design. Exterior designer Alberto Mancini’s characteristic style of sculpted surfaces is evident with the Azimut 68, an approach more commonly seen in sports car design. The interiors are designed by Achille Salvagni, who also created the exterior furniture.

Below deck, four cabins and three bathrooms accommodate up to eight guests in comfort, with a separate area for one or two crew members.

The propulsion package of twin Volvo IPS 1350 pods carries the Azimut 68 up to a maximum speed of 32 knots, and a cruise speed of 28 knots. The extensive use of carbon fibre in the upper parts, including the superstructure, hardtop and part of the deck, give the motoryacht a low centre of gravity for excellent stability and cruising comfort, even with  the expanded volumes.
