Furuno’s new high-performance chart plotter is designed for commercial fishermen.

The GP3700 and GP3700F chart plotter/chart plotter-fish finder combo incorporates the easy-touse interface from the previous commercial model, the GP3500, adding enhancements and new features to simplify fishing.

A dedicated Display key toggles through modes and various displays can be customised. Short-cut control keys make putting down marks and lines quick and easy and keys can be assigned to menu items for one-touch access. Undo and Redo function keys allow the operator to go back one operational step or instantly recover the last operation. A rugged trackball moves the cursor, while arrow keys give more precise control. A 12.1-inch IPS colour screen provides clear visibility and a wide viewing angle.

The GP3700 stores up to 30,000 own ship track points, 30,000 points for marks and lines, and 10,000 TT/ AIS/GPS buoy points. A USB port facilitates storing and retrieving data for review or backup/recovery and there’s a useful screenshot function.
