FIVE AWARDS FOR FURUNO

JAPANESE COMPANY FURUNO received five gongs at the 2019 National Marine Electronics Association (NMEA) Products of Excellence Awards ceremony in USA, including the awards for best radar and fish finder.

Furuno has now won a staggering 230 NMEA awards. In the radar category, the DRS4DNXT 25W solid-state doppler radar took home the top prize, while the DFF3D took the award for fish finder, as it did in 2018.

The DFF3D offers a 120-degree view from port to starboard, showing fish depth and location under the boat.

The SC33 Satellite Compass took the award for NMEA 2000 Sensor while in the AIS category, top honours went to the FA170 Class A AIS transponder.
