Paul Morvan claims third place in leg one of the 57th La Solitaire du Figaro Paprec

Paul Morvan, sailing Foricher – French Touch, crossed the finish line in Vigo in third place on Thursday at 7:32:30 local time, just under 41 minutes behind race leader Tom Dolan on Kingspan.

The French skipper took 3 days, 21 hours, 2 minutes and 30 seconds to complete the opening leg of the 57th La Solitaire du Figaro Paprec, which measured 610 nautical miles on paper. In reality, Morvan covered 661.19 nautical miles at an average speed of 7.11 knots.
