Tohatsu Corporation has appointed Power Equipment Pty Ltd as its exclusive distributor for Australia, New Zealand and Oceania, effective 1 July 2026. This partnership will leverage Power Equipment’s established dealer network, technical expertise and parts infrastructure to support Tohatsu’s continued growth across the region.

Power Equipment, a leading marine engine distributor, will add Tohatsu’s range of outboard engines to its portfolio, expanding its offering into the petrol outboard market. The company currently supports more than 80 Tohatsu dealers and will continue to drive brand growth and customer support throughout Australasia.

Genki Tamura, General Manager of Overseas Operations at Tohatsu, said the partnership aligns with the company’s growth strategy and strengthens its market position in the region.

Luke Foster, CEO of Power Equipment, said the addition of Tohatsu complements the company’s marine portfolio and enables it to offer a complete range of propulsion, power and marine technology solutions.
