Sanlorenzo SL110A to debut at Cannes

Published

The Sanlorenzo SL110A doesn’t shout for attention. Instead, it quietly redefines what a 33.5-metre yacht can be, using asymmetry to create more space, better flow, and a closer connection to the sea. This is a practical, liveable yacht for owners who value good design over grand gestures.

The Sanlorenzo SL110A is a 33.5-metre motor yacht with a layout that quietly breaks from tradition. Instead of symmetry, it uses an offset design to make better use of space on board. The result is a boat that feels open, easy to navigate, and naturally connected to the water.

Asymmetry with a purpose

The SL110A raises the port side walkway and shifts it outboard. That lets the designers widen the interior on one side — especially useful in the saloon and owner’s cabin. There’s more floor space, more natural light, and better views from inside without increasing the boat’s footprint. A side terrace folds down from the saloon, giving guests direct access to the water.

Simple layout, more usable space

The bow has been turned into usable space with seating, sunpads, and a small pool. The anchor gear is hidden beneath a hatch to keep things clean and safe. At the other end, the stern includes a pivoting platform and garage for a tender and jetski. It also serves as a swim platform, with fold-out steps that lead back to the cockpit.

The cockpit itself is adaptable. It can be set up for lounging, dining, or cleared for more space, depending on how the boat is being used.

Interior built for use

Inside, the SL110A is built for comfort. Materials lean toward timber, matte finishes, and soft lighting. There’s plenty of glass and airflow, with large windows and sliding doors that connect indoor and outdoor areas.

The main cabin (full-beam, forward on the main deck) has its own access to the bow, which is useful for privacy. Below deck are four more guest cabins and a separate crew area with space for six. There’s a second helm and extra outdoor space up on the flybridge.

Straightforward Performance

The SL110A is powered by twin diesel engines and is designed to cruise comfortably with a top speed around 27 knots. At normal cruising speeds, it’s efficient for its size and layout.

Key specs:

The Sanlorenzo SL110A measures 33.5 metres in length with a beam of 7.5 metres, giving it a decent footprint without being overly bulky. It carries a gross tonnage of around 235 GT, which translates to generous internal volume for a boat this size. The yacht can reach speeds of up to 27 knots, thanks to its twin diesel engines — fast enough for coastal runs or island cruising.

Onboard, there are five guest cabins, including a full-beam master suite on the main deck. Below, the crew quarters include three cabins with space for up to six crew, offering enough room for professional operation without compromising guest privacy. There’s a tender garage tucked into the stern, with space for both a tender and a jetski, and the transom folds down to create a swim platform. A fold-out side terrace off the main saloon offers another spot to sit close to the water — ideal when anchored in calm bays.

It’s smart

The SL110A gives owners and guests a bit more space without making the boat harder to run. The layout is simple, adaptable, and practical — particularly for long days at anchor or cruising with friends and family.
