Bavaria E40 walkthrough with Busfield Marine, at the Auckland Boat Show

At the Auckland Boat Show we stepped aboard a 2018 Bavaria E40 for a quick walkthrough. The boat blends relaxed outdoor living spaces with a practical interior layout designed for cruising and time at anchor.

KEYPOINTS

• Walkthrough video of a 2018 Bavaria E40 at the Auckland Boat Show
• Forward deck area suited for lounging or fishing
• Wide swim platform and sheltered cockpit seating
• Flybridge helm with Garmin electronics
• Saloon with galley and inside helm station
• Queen berth in the master cabin plus additional sleeping space
• Two separate toilet and shower areas onboard

A quick look around the Bavaria E40

We begin the tour at the bow, where the forward deck offers a generous open area. Depending on how you like to use the boat, this space can be fitted with day beds for relaxing in the sun or left clear for fishing.

From here the walkthrough moves hard aft to the swim platform. There is plenty of room down here for getting in and out of the water or handling gear alongside the boat.

The cockpit sits just above and is well protected by a hardtop. Seating wraps around a central table, creating a comfortable outdoor gathering space for family or guests. If the weather changes, a removable canvas panel at the back can be fitted to close the cockpit in.

Up at the helm, the boat is equipped with Garmin electronics, giving the skipper clear navigation information and control while underway.

Inside the saloon

Step inside, and the saloon opens into a bright, practical living space. Seating lines the interior, with the galley close at hand, equipped with gas cooking and the essentials needed for time aboard.

An interior helm station sits within the saloon. This allows the boat to be driven from inside when the weather turns or when the sun becomes a little too strong outside.

Forward of the living space, the master cabin carries a queen-size berth. The saloon table can also be lowered to create additional sleeping space when needed.

Another cabin offers a second queen-size bed, giving the boat room for overnight guests or family cruising.

The layout includes a dedicated shower and head along with a separate toilet compartment that can serve as the day head.

Watch the walkthrough

The Bavaria E40 packs a lot into its layout, from generous outdoor living areas to practical cruising accommodation. Come on down and see it at the Busfield Marine booth at the Auckland Boat Show.
