The ‘TackingMaster’ is a marvellous innovation for anyone sailing tactically with a compass. While the TackingMaster is ideal for dinghy, skiff, and small yacht sailing, it is of equally great benefit for crews and skippers on larger yachts.

In a matter of 10 seconds, you can set the wind direction, the heading mark, and you will have your ideal tacking angles, reach angles, and downwind coordinates. As the wind angle changes, a quick adjustment recalibrates the angles and bingo you have your new headings. Made in Denmark, TackingMaster can be worn on your wrist or fixed to your vessel, requires no batteries, and provides a great visual of the sailing in front of you.

Available from Scandinavian Marine Supplies for $165 plus postage, complete with wrist strap and pouch.
