Ultraflex®’s new ZTF Tiller systems make it easier and more comfortable to drive tiller-steered boats powered by large, modern four-stroke outboards.

Using a patented hydraulic valve, the new ZTF Tiller eliminates propeller torque at the tiller when the driver is not actively changing direction. The valve prevents propeller torque reaching the tiller handle until the driver turns the boat to port or starboard, at which point the valve opens to provide steering feedback.

Ultraflex®’s ZTF Tiller systems versions are suitable for model year 2005 and later Mercury 150hp four-stroke outboards and Yamaha 2008 and later 90-200hp four-stroke outboards. Both options are available through Lusty & Blundell’s nationwide network of leading marine dealers.
