Voodoo XF450 signals a new era for Kiwi adventure cats

Voodoo reveals fresh details as the 36 metre flagship takes shape.

The latest teaser from Voodoo Yachts has pushed the XF450 back into the spotlight, offering a clearer view of how the yard intends to scale its foil assisted platform into true superyacht territory.

This new preview focuses on life at the water’s edge. Voodoo’s update shows the aft deck rolling straight into a full beam Beach Club, creating a generous platform for swimming, toys, and time off the throttle. It is an early look, yet it confirms that the Beach Club will anchor the entire layout. According to Voodoo, the space will open wide to the sea and act as a relaxed hub for arrival and recovery after long passages.

The scale remains striking for a builder known for its fast sub 24 metre cats. At 36.3 metres with 450GT of interior volume, the XF450 shifts Voodoo into a different league. First reports outlined twin flybridge options, a wellness studio in the Beach Club, and an interior by Christian Oliver Design built around light woods and a vertical lightwell. A five cabin layout sits at the core, with an owner’s suite that runs full beam and offers wraparound views.

From 75 to 450: Voodoo XF450 and the next step in luxury Kiwi adventure cats

What gives the concept real weight is the record of the existing fleet. Boats like Phoebe and Mach4 have already proved that Voodoo’s foil assisted hulls can hold high speed, long range passages across open ocean. The XF450 appears to build on that same engineering, but with superyacht volume, far broader living areas, and the option for a helipad.

It is still early days, yet the message is clear. Voodoo is stepping up with confidence, shaping a Kiwi designed flagship aimed at owners who want pace and serious offshore reach wrapped in a calm, beach level lifestyle.
