Farr Yacht Design new website

Written by

Farr Yacht Design has launched a redesigned website, its first major digital overhaul in over a decade. Under owner Britton Ward (since 2025),
Farr Yacht Design remains highly active, with recent award-winning projects and new work across racing, cruising, and superyachts. The updated site showcases its 800-design portfolio, archives, and current projects.

Farr Yacht Design was founded by Bruce Farr in Auckland in the 1970s and relocated to Annapolis, Maryland, where it has been based for more than three decades. The firm’s designs have won five editions of the Whitbread and Volvo Ocean Race, multiple America’s Cup campaigns, and world championships across nearly every offshore and grand prix class.
