Leveraging the innovative ePropulsion Smart System Architecture (eSSA), the company has introduced several new offerings: the Pod Drive 20 eSSA, the G102-230 battery, and the PowerCruise Essential modular energy system. These new products are set to redefine electric and hybrid vessel solutions and were showcased at METSTRADE 2024 in Amsterdam.

“Building on the success of our X-Series and I-Series motors, along with the G102-100 battery, we’ve worked closely with boat builders to enhance our offerings,” said Danny Tao, Co-founder and CEO of ePropulsion. “Our goal is to create a seamless, one-stop solution for our partners by providing fully integrated, plug-and-play systems that simplify installation and broaden design possibilities. With our advanced system architecture, we aim to set new benchmarks in marine innovation for OEMs and naval architects.”

Innovative product launches for 2025

Pod Drive 20 eSSA

The new Pod Drive 20 eSSA delivers luxury, performance, and versatility. Integrating the motor, propeller, and cooling system into a compact unit, it mounts beneath the hull to eliminate the need for traditional inboard engines and shaft lines. This frees up significant interior space, making it ideal for modern vessel designs. Designed for flexibility, the Pod Drive 20 eSSA is compatible with a wide range of vessels and can be easily mounted onto existing Volvo or Yanmar sail drives, streamlining installation while enhancing vessel aesthetics.

This high-capacity battery powers ePropulsion’s 96V systems, including the X- and I-Series motors and Pod Drive eSSA Series. Its built-in intelligent Battery Management System (BMS) ensures maximum safety, while its slim, space-saving design is ideal for under-seat or under-deck storage, optimising onboard space without compromising performance.
